| Looking for the next job opportunity can itself be a full time job. And, you
never know when an opportunity is going to come along. So, a quality
relationship with one of our Placement Counselors can be an important
asset for you for the duration of your career. Let us be your eyes and ears.
Our experienced, professional Placement Counselors — many of whom have been with us for over 10 years — will filter through possible job opportunities
to find those that meet your personal criteria and needs.
When working with our Placement Counselors, please take care to follow
these guidelines:
Provide Interview Feedback
When you are interviewing with one of our clients, it is imperative that we
hear from you with your feedback immediately after the interview. We must know your level of interest before we talk with our client. Many times, you may have thought of additional questions that we can get cleared up for you. We try to
work as quickly and accurately as possible, and our clients appreciate our
sense of urgency.
Keep Your Profile Current
As your skills change, call us. When you get a promotion or pay increase, call us. Keeping us informed of changes to your desires, vision, and needs will keep us on track for finding the best opportunity for you.
Be Honest
We need to establish a comfortable relationship built on trust and open communication. We work on an extremely confidential basis and expect that
our conversations with you will remain confidential. We may ask you on numerous
occasions to identify other opportunities that you are considering in order to
avoid duplicating our efforts. Please remember that our focus is to identify the perfect candidate for the perfect opportunity.
If You Are Going On A Temporary Assignment
1. Call us ... if you're going to be late or absent.
2. Call us ... if the client asks you to return for another
assignment or offers you a full-time position.
3. Call us ... if you're injured on the job.
Be Neat And Dress Appropriately
A well-groomed appearance makes a positive impression. Avoid distracting extremes in styles. The client's dress code and safety code will determine what is appropriate.
Maintain Confidentiality
Do not discuss confidential information about the client company where you are assigned. Also, never discuss your pay with any other field employee or employee of the client. Your pay is a confidential matter between you and Career Blazers.
Cell Phone Use, The Internet And Personal Calls
Cell phone use is prohibited while on assignment, except for emergencies. Please limit personal phone calls to your scheduled break time. Use of the Internet should be limited to assigned job functions. Recreational web-surfing and personal e-mail use is not permitted. |
